Arvada Veterinary Hospital is equiped with digital radiography for fast, accurate x-rays. This diagnostic tool helps our doctors evaluate your pets skeletal system, heart and lungs, stomach and intestines, reproductive organs and urinary system. As an added service and without additional fees, all of our x-rays are reviewed by our radiology specialist, Dr. Pugh
Ultrasound
This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine the internal architechture of internal organs. Ultrasound differs from x-ray, which reveals the general shape, size and location of structures. Again, we utilize the special training and experience of Dr. Charles Pugh for our ultrasounds. Dr. Pugh has over 30 years experience, has served on the facilties at University of Pennsylvania and Colorado State University schools of veterinary medicine, and has authored or contibuted to dozens of scientific articles.
